Cardiol Forte
Cardiol Forte
Cardiol ® Forte contains a combination of Omega-3 EPA/DHA, Total Monacolins and Olive Polyphenols which protect LDL cholesterol from oxidation, together with an artichoke extract, supported by a clinical study, with great effects on the lipid profile and with hepatoprotective activity.

Information
Omega-3 EPA and DHA are essential components of cell membranes and precursors of a class of cellular messengers called eicosanoids, which play a crucial role in regulating many physiological functions. EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function with a daily intake of 250 mg (1 soft capsule of Cardiol® Forte).
Artichoke dry extract is obtained in powder form from the leaves of the artichoke (Cynara cardunculus L.) and standardized to 10% chlorogenic acid and derivatives (biophenols) and 2% luteolin 7-glucoside and derivatives (flavonoids). The biophenols in the extract have choleretic, cholagogue, and hepatoprotective activities. Additionally, the flavonoids inhibit cholesterol biosynthesis and protect LDL cholesterol from oxidative damage.
Fermented red rice contains polyphenols, a vast group of plant-derived secondary metabolites with various biological activities. The main polyphenols found in the fruits and leaves of the olive tree are phenolic acids, such as hydroxytyrosol, and its derivatives, such as oleuropein. Numerous in vivo and in vitro studies have demonstrated their antioxidant activity, particularly in protecting LDL cholesterol from oxidative damage. It has also been shown that olive polyphenols can penetrate cells, with significant antioxidant activity at very low doses (≥ 5 mg). The olive extract in Cardiol Forte provides 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol per capsule.
Coenzyme Q10 is an oxidative reduction agent involved in the mitochondrial energy production chain and is essential for optimizing cellular energy production (in the form of adenosine triphosphate – ATP). Scientific studies have shown that it is advisable to take it while supplementing with red fermented rice monacolins.
