The iron in Ferrolip® Liquid is microencapsulated, which increases its tolerability. Protected within microcapsules, the iron does not come into contact with the gastric mucosa and can be absorbed directly in the intestine.
Ferrolip® Liquid also protects the oral mucosa and does not have the metallic taste commonly found in many iron supplements.
Microencapsulated ferric pyrophosphate ensures high gastrointestinal absorption, excellent bioavailability, reduced incidence of gastrointestinal side effects and lower toxicity, and elimination of metallic taste.
